How on fucking earth has this thread got so many posts without anyone mentioning Stephen K Amos!!!! Bloke is seriously the most unfunny comedian ever. Just fucking amazes me the cunt even has any career in comedy whatsoever.
I also put that useless unfunny scouse cunt John Bishop and fat Geordie ponce Sarah Millican in same bracket. I swear people who go and watch the only laugh as they feel they should be.

Massive over-generalisation about USA and UK comedians here. All subjective, obviously, but Monty Python is now mostly painful to watch for me. It's neither funny or thought-provoking. It's just "stupid".

The list of unfunny comedians these days is endless
The general dumbing down of society is really quite frightening
Third rate entertainment is the order of the day
Music has been boring & unproductive for the last 30 years. TV has bombarded us with crass unamusing sitcoms. Most of the films made in the last 15 years have been utter shite (with a few very notable exceptions). So how can we expect comedians to be any different?
The other day I was painting the window frames, when a programme about Benny Hill's life came on. Some of the clips had me howling with laughter. The old style comedians like Ken Dodd, Tommy Cooper, Morecombe & Wise, The Two Ronnies etc were all funny guys
The Monty Python team were incredibly funny
Most of todays comedians attempt to get cheap laughs by using expletives & extreme crudeness aimed to shock the audience
The irony is that Benny Hill's shows were withdrawn mainly for not being politically correct!
Around the top of my list of unfunny comedians that I just can't stand watching are:-

Russell Brand
Allan Carr
Lee Evans
That fat dickhead from Blackpool in the technicoloured suit that can't string two words together without an expletive (can't remember his name & don't really want to)

Any of the "comedians" that they have on I'm a Celeb so that's that Russell Kane and the blond one with the big teeth. Ruin a fairly decent show.
Saw Stephen K Amos years ago when he was pretty much unknown and he was hilarious that night. Unfortunately he has got less funny each year since.
